Just a quick plug here that relates to the broken down vehicle. Get AMA it costs about $85 a year and worth every penny. Tow trucks now charge on average $40 to hook up and $2.50 PER KM. So from where ever they are dispatched till they return. I have had it for about 10 years now after an $800 tow. ( I was in the mountains with the RV)
Reflecting back I had a great day yesterday. Checked out the LDS fair in Calgary (small but good info for a newbie like myself). Checked out the Red Deer gun show and pawed a 6 shooter colt with a pearl handle that I really REALLY liked. Met QM and company and had some good conversations, my only regret is that I was on a time limit and had to leave before others showed. I would have stayed all right if I could. I will definitely clear my schedule for the Stettler meet when it happens. Take care QM.

Yeah getting AMA today cost 350 to tow back to lethbridge from outside clairshome or how ever you spell it

get AMA plus membership. costs a little bit more, but you get 150 km free towing instead of just 5 km free towing. And you can use the card 6 times instead of 5. The plus membership is a much better deal for someone who will be on the highways alot. the basic membership is basically just designed to get you to the nearest mechanics within the city you break down in. But if your not close to a garage you will end up having to pay $2 a km after your first 5.
