Hi folks, hope everyone is doing well. 😀
I have determined even though the snow hasn’t stopped yet, the trees are not budding and I haven’t seen a Red Wing Black Bird this year… 🙄
It is still time to go through the BOB’s and see what needs to be changed out and as well to make sure I remember what I have in those silly things.
I’ll give it all a look through to make sure everything still looks in good shape. I’ll put new food items in and chomp on the ones that have been there for six months even though most are meant to be okay for years. Fresh is best if we can still get to the stores…
My Get Home Bag in the daily driver will likely need the least attention, but the type of clothing I keep spare in the vehicle will likely change for the season.
The main BOB will also likely keep the same items, but the Hiking Pack will lose the winter items of clothing in favour of lighter change outs and more water for hot days.
I of course like many of you have not been able to resist some of those “oh so cool 😉 ” items we find from time to time and have a tendency to find a way to jam it in with the rest. This means I will do a very thorough inspection of all the stitching and zippers on each bag while loaded and while unloaded.
So with the two big meetings being planned in the month of May I thought I would send a heads up for my fellow Preppers.

Hmmm, maybe I should rethink the quiet part...

Great reminder quietman.

We were through our Bobs a few weeks ago looking for something. Now we need to do the spring cleaning.

This would also be a good time to update your Bob memory stick with your personal information.

Good reminder, QM.
I'd been meaning to go through my own bags a few weeks ago, but did finally accomplish it last Friday night after work, while at the same time vacuum sealing fresher rations for the bags.
I had plans for the weekend to scout out more BOLs closer to the mountains, and just figured I should review more than a few things on my list, including the BOBs that would accompany me.
