Hi Bonavistamama. I live in the south also. Have emailed KJGUNN and have another interested person also. If you want to forward some potential meeting times we can start to narrow down a time that fits. Mostly interested in food storage and emergency preparedness as a community initiative but open to discussing most related subjects.

Hello everyone
We are new to the Calgary area, we are in our 40's, we are looking to networking with fellow preppers, we have been prepping for the past 3 yrs and take this as a definate possibility in the near future to which there is no harm in preparing. We are not on the crazy side of the coin, believe in preparing for the worst and hoping for the best.
If anyone is interested and has the same thoughts we would like to meet-up and compare notes, we have enough supplies for 1.5 yrs if required, if not we do not have to buy groceries for the next 1.5 yrs :), this does not include the dehydrated supplies, that will just extend ever further if required.

check out the thread for the 5th Alberta meeting as it is coming up soon again. It probably wouldn't hurt to read up on the first few meetings as well because you'd get an idea of who was active and some of the topics we discussed.
