Hello Fellow Prepers, Just joined the site looking for other prepers in Calgary Area, I have been prepping for a short time now. Looking for more ideas and maybe meetings in the Calgary area
so glad I have found you. I'm a junior (mostly due to budget constraints) prepper from NE Calgary. Looking forward to meeting new people, making new friends, exchanging info and so on. See you in cochrane next week.

New to the site and not that techno savy. Local to Calgary. How do I find the next meet-up and/or join discussions?
My main interest is in food and emergency preparedness as community development. Believe the best way to avoid hardship and chaos is to have as many people prepared and organized as possible for food supply and service interuptions. Have studied the subject for years and am willing to share my knowledge and interested in learning from others.

Thanks for the info Jfamily. It will take me a while to learn how to navigate the site. I will try and attend the next meeting. 29 works best for me. Is there an oportunity for meeting people here in Calgary casually? The opprortunity to travel to meetings is not always available to me and I still prefer face to face contact over electronic messaging. Want to check out people's perspectives on food and emergency preparedness as a community initiative.

Calgary here too! I'd be interested in some sort of casual meetup in the city too. I'm in the south, bordering along Fish creek.
