I'll just tell them it's chocolate and watch them struggle trying to get the foil off.

Than= I’d rather be rich than poor.
Then= I first became hungry then I ate.
There = She is there now.

I'm giving wind up radios with solar and i-phone charging. Good for even the shortest power outs and almost everyone gets those.

How much are those silver quarters going for and where? I was just watching some news on the economy (a bit old... January) and it looks like its getting more and more important to bank on precious metals. Time I started buying I figure.

If you're curious... here is the vid.

How about a water cooler with lots of extra bottles-not prepper, just handy right?

I've got a telescopic fishing rod and a Leatherman coming for her. Great ideas from everyone!

Hey BBB, any idea how well that IKEA flashlight works?

Joy, got a link to the wind-up radio/ipod chargers?

Exactly what I bought the ex to put in her car this year nighthawk. That way she can give our daughter half a chance if anything goes south. 🙂

How about a fondue set....
Or maybe some decorative candles, the ones that come in a jar...
Gets them prepared without looking like a prepper gift!

Couglans makes a great little wind up LED flashlight with a small clip to attach to a zipper, at about $4 it's a great stocking stuffer for grandkids for on their jacket zippers. After all they get to have a light and it is something that never needs batteries, and every little one I have met thinks they are "cool"
