I'm giving wind up radios with solar and i-phone charging. Good for even the shortest power outs and almost everyone gets those.
How much are those silver quarters going for and where? I was just watching some news on the economy (a bit old... January) and it looks like its getting more and more important to bank on precious metals. Time I started buying I figure.

Couglans makes a great little wind up LED flashlight with a small clip to attach to a zipper, at about $4 it's a great stocking stuffer for grandkids for on their jacket zippers. After all they get to have a light and it is something that never needs batteries, and every little one I have met thinks they are "cool"
