okay so now I'll start with making your own seasoning mixes, pudding mixes, breads/crackers, mre/camping meals etc...knowing how to do these recipes saves you money on groceries so that money can go to other preps!

No, you can use whatever soap you like...Ivory and Olive oil, Sunlight are the purest I can find here...I try to stay away from chemicals because of eczema on the bottoms of my feet it has taken 5 years to heal...use what soap you enjoy...if it doesn't leave a residue on your clothing (you will notice mostly on dark/black clothes) than it is ok.

Someone had posted a canned pea soup recipe and it remined me to post some recipes like I said I would. This can be sealed and packed in BOB's (seal pea flour in a small bag and seal chicken boullion in another small bag then bag them together in a sealed bag. Also great for a quick lunch on the run at home or work, make up lots and have them ready in your food storage meals or you can grind a quart jar amount of peas and have it in your food storage to just grab so you can make a large pot of soup for everyone.

PEA SOUP:Makes 1 serving

2 1/2 TBSP of split peas (yellow or green) GRIND TO A FLOUR in coffee grinder (=3TBSP powder)
1-1 1/2 TBSP chicken boullion (or pkg of chicken oxo)
1 1/2 cup cold water

.Mix 1/2 cup cold water & 3 TBSP of pea flour in a small bowl and set aside
.In a small pot bring 1 cup of water and chicken boullion to a boil
.Add in pea flour/water mixture and return to a boil (soup will thicken)
.You can add shredded carrots, vegetables or onion powder if you like
