While in Edmonton for the thanksgiving last weekend, we went to West Edmonton mall and found this is the back parking lot. Looks like a nice setup and if you look close you see the fuel tank on the top and the flammable sign on the front. It's probably for a company setup but it got me thinking how many there are out there?

Could it be storage for fuels if there is an emergency that requires fuel for a ginny or something?

Usually you meet at the Muster Point when there is a disaster like a fire and you want to make sure everyone got out of the building okay. Why would you gather beside something flammable after leaving a fire?

Could it be they bought a container with the sticker on it? My container still has some decals that were only relevant to its previous owner.

Five will get you ten; the container and muster point are for a small contractor building out a retail store within the mall. Often the retailer sends materials to site for the general contractor to install well before the site is ready for them. Ergo, a sea can to store that material and other fixtures until the site is ready for their installation. The muster point if for an emergency on the construction site rather than for the whole mall and most likely works within the contractor's site safety protocol.

I would have to agree........ what is so disturbing about this post....

Better to have it and not need it; then to need it and not have it...

I'm guessing I'd better settle this before our overseers out east lock down this thread. First my disclaimer: I am in no way condoning any unlawful activities as per the agreement made when signing up to this site.

"Five will get you ten" is a reference to a bet. More specifically, a sure bet at even odds. Were you to wager five, I am certain you would walk away with ten. Bizarre and disturbing, I know. As for the mundane content in the post in question, as a small commercial contractor I have placed containers at several different malls and commercial complexes (minus the gerry can on the roof) and speak from experience.

So there you have it.... Nothing to see here.... Move along.....
