A slow and painful decline into collapse. I believe we are looking at a healthy brew of economic and environmental degradation. What scares me most is how "specialized" our society has become. A typical urban/suburban man has become so profficient at doing his "job" that many lack the broad skill set required to survive a breakdown in our way of life. Add to that we live in a convenience based culture where we get anything from dinner to oil changes in under 30 seconds. It is engineered dependence. I am truly amazed at how big government has herded us into cities under the veil of careers and prosperity when really it is all paid slavery. We've been duped. We are slaves to our debts and taxes and it's all going to collapse on us.
Economical collapse, not just of one or two countries, but probably global, enviroment is just playing out, oil has likely peaked, population is how many billion????, food & water shortages, civial unrest & war.... We are on a crash course for some very difficult, & hard times. A lot of things are going to drastically change. http://www.peakprosperity.com/crashcourse
