If you think someone shouldn't do something 100% legal simply because of what someone else will think, then you're an idiot.
Well... That escalated quickly
It did indeed, and this member has now been reported and has now been removed from the board, due to attacking fellow board members in a number of posts. While folks are more then welcome to debate issues and there will be times that folks will agree to disagree on issues, there is no reason for folks to need to feel attacked on the board.

You two pair of IDIOTS can just stay the hell out of my town..We have enough problems down here without you two clowns showing up.....If you are actually stupid enough to walk or bicycle through Calgary with a gun or gun case on your back go right ahead it will make for good news at 6..Go up to district two, I have a couple of close friends that would be very interested in explaining things to you... Go ahead and reply to this and we will see how long it takes to get your dum ass's booted from here.....DENOB your turn......Any body that advocates for the use of a firearm in a manner such as this needs his/her head examined...Tell me just how far up your ass can you get your head to have a SHITTY thought like this one.....
You Sir are a fucking sheep.
OH NO HE DIDN'T!
TRAVELLER, A SHEEP?
WOW...
sorry Traveller...I think he's been dealt with.
Sorry, misread that at first. Thought he said Travellor f#@ked a sheep. 😳 in light of recent posts, please see the humour in this.

BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH????????????
Thanks Mods. Frankly, it started as a "poking bear" idea and it somehow turned personal rather quickly for little reasons. I don't see myself as as a sheep, even less a cowardly one (yes, I've attended Lt COL Grossman's presentations). But even the best sheepdog has got to know when not to engage and rather disengage and take the time to plan sound tactics. Those may take longer to implement and may need more efforts, but they don't get you in trouble right away.
If you want to defend your gun given rights, start by owning them and using them properly, know the law, train with them, join a gun advocacy group and when needed, contact your MP/MLA to let them know of anomalies. Walking downtown toting guns doesn't sit well with me.

Since I cannot send private messages I'll share my opinion here. Moderators Im a little disappointed in your handling of this. I don't agree with this member being removed from the forum. This member was also attacked by other members of this forum being called an idiot and even being suggested that he should be slapped before he responded back. Although I may not have the full story it seems to me that he was removed for responding to being "attacked" for having an idea and a different opinion. Did this escalate, yes. Should he have been removed from this forum, I don't think so, unless you remove all members that were involved.
I concur with Juicy. Both require a word but Traveller should have been dealt with more harshly as he escalated the issue with the name calling and threats (particularly stating that a few of his friends with straighten him out). The post with the comment:v"OH NO HE DIDN'T! TRAVELLER, A SHEEP? WOW... sorry Traveller...I think he's been dealt with" seems to show a little favouritism. If anyone should have been reported and suspended, it should be Traveller due to the threats and hostility. My two cents.

OK guys...seriously, enough with the report this guy and report that guy.
I hadn't seen all the comments and missed the post by Traveller...stuff happens and quite frankly I've had about enough of the junk on this forum the last few days.
I have sent Traveller an email regarding the situation as I think this forum has had about enough mud slinging lately.
Hope this satisfies all involved.
Now, let's all calm down and get back to some constructive discussions...THAT, BY THE WAY, INCLUDES ME!

...One resident stated;she "followed the footsteps in the mud up the stairs to the closet where the guns were stored;the cases were opened and left only taking the guns"....
Naka, do you know where there is a link to confirm that?? If so it puts a totally different light on things since in another forum "RE: Emergency Management and Civil Protection Act" started by oldschool about the abilities of police during an emergency. It would answer very well to what thecrownsown was saying if there really is evidence/testimony about RCMP gun confiscation being done this way.
Just saying...

Apparently the military was involved as well.
