Princess Auto has the portable butane stoves for $14.99 which is half of normal. Gas for these can usually be found reasonably in Chinatown type stores. Edmonton Lucky 97 has often put them on sale but there are no flyers for them.

This is a great post. I found a guy on youtubeshowing what he was able to get at the dollar store in his city.
I am in the process of building my full bug out kit that will fill my Jeep Cherokee. I am putting a carrier on the hitch and on the roof.
I want to be able to have my truck loaded and on the road in less than 10 minutes.
I will also be adding to this post as I find deals to share.

Canadian Tire always have good deals if you check in each week. This week all Yardworks axes and mauls with fibreglass handles are 30 % off.

That Canadaammo deal is phenomenal. I just bought a long barrel M-305 with a case of 7.62 for $599 + GST. No shipping charge on orders over $100. The rifle hit the 200 yard gong at Wabamun on the first shot. I just about wept.

Costco is now carrying in-store the gamma vaults which hold 60 lbs of bulk food and 100 lbs of flour for under $40.00. Their online price is closer to $60.00.

Del Monte canned fruit (with whatever dangers lurk in the lining in the can) are on sale at Sobey's in Edmonton for $1/can. Regular price is $3.19 so good savings. Safeway has Campbell's Chunky Soups (again, if you are worried about the lining, sorry I don't know) for 5 for $10 in their entire flavour range, and Sidekicks are on for around a buck (all flavours).

The zellers in calgary west hills mall is closing. 70% off the entire store. Great opportunity to stock up on everything from paper goods, canned food, to vitamins.
