Quiet forum...
Was talking to a couple other members. Since the site updates it seems much quieter!

One is none, two is one.
Most are just busy with life stuff. Was just catching up on a few topics.
I'm still around. Busy with work and life. And my prepping has kind of stalled due to a lack of money/space.
I'm still here. Grand Children keep us very busy.
Still here. Between work and gardens/acreage, I just have time to come snoop, not as much to write.
Good!
Was beginning to think I was talking to myself on the BC forum:)

Still kicking in Miracle valley, B.C. but spend more time on Survival Board because I have a good friend on it I know from my former career so we compare notes . Like others I have gardens and outdoor improvement projects on the go in summer .
I come in once in a while.
You've Got To Be Tough, If You're Going To Be Stupid.
Mind me asking, Syn, where is the Miracle Valley? .......in generallities, of course.
Aye! Still out here and still not going out for coffee.
Other prepping forums have gone quiet as well. This is surprising considering the global political situation over the past number of months.
Perhaps we have reached Peak Preparedness.
Our own focus now is on debt reduction/elimination as much as anything else.
Miracle Valley is tucked in behind Hatzic Valley on the north side of the Fraser River east of Mission . Its a small little slice of heaven I share with cougar and bear ( mostly the bear ). It is rather rich in more self reliant sort of folks , an ecclectic mix of organic homesteaders and drug affiliates .
Well just had a meet with 3 others in my area. Was nice to see others that think like me. Working on a get together at my location. But will have to be tents for now till i get road up to where it needs to be. Clay road sucks if it rains to much. Specialy when you have idiots drive on it wet and get stuck. Will keep everyone upto date. Will talk it over with my other half and partner tomorrow. He reading the mag info. Mutual assistance group stuff tonight.
Thanks, Syn for the info on your little slice of heaven. Kind of sounds like ours, with the same eclectic mix of folk.
We have a great little backwater spot just a few metres from our place, where I took the kids and grandkids for a cool down swim yesterday. Next weekend we will go to another beach about 5 properties downriver, where I can walk out to my chin, on sand, and still not be in the current. It's absolutely wonderful.
Lots of us are here. Few of us are internet types. Ha ha.
