I've spent most of my life eating different wild foods of B.C.. I'm continuously trying to learn new foods our province has to offer. Any knowledge people have I would love to hear.

Orange peel fungus is growing now, it’s peak season for it. Fairly innocuous , goes good in soups. Grows all over here.

Try:

"Food Plants of Interior First Peoples" Nancy Turner
"Food Plants of Coastal First Peoples" Nancy Turner
"Plant Technology of First Peoples of British Columbia" Nancy Turner

"The Standing People: Wild Medicinal Plants of British Columbia" Kahlee Keane
"The Boreal Herbal: Wild Food and Medicinal Plants of the North" Beverly Gray

These books will give you a good start.
