I again see so many flaws with bugging out as you weaken your position drastically in doing so. It is far better to relocate before hand and build a decent defense somewhere safer. Then you could plan for a secondary fallback in case you lost your primary one.

Exactly

There is that TRUST issue again and again. Definitely a concern as Knuckle states it, and it has been said throughout the thread. Always better to learn about a person BEFORE the SHTF, because after it starts, people will tell you anything to get in. Yet they were always too busy to meet up for a coffee, chat, and bond.

Heya Knuckle,

It took our group all summer, searching Southern BC, to find something that would work. It is completely off grid, and definitely a work in progress. We were at the property a couple weeks ago. Hoofed almost 14km (according to someone's pedometer/gps/app), around the perimeter. Tons of signs of wildlife.

As for the thread.... there are scary people, and then there are evil people. Prepare for the evil ones.

Hi Preppersaurus:

I also checked out your blog. Wonderful looking spot. I am in southern BC also. Our property does not have the potential that yours does, but it is home for the three of us. Have fun with it. Keep the in progress pictures coming!
