I think what Stan was trying to say was dont let the best of your intentions get the best of you. Yes his name is Stan and he rides a black homeade kayak in the inner harbour from False creek sometimes. This guy was taken out of context and Im sure after talking with him at Seynour Mountain during the Sea to sky race was really pissed off. First off he made mention of a unit that can be used to protect great land areas for livestock and farm from intruders and it got blown out of proportion as I see it and heard from him. He got pissed off because he is not a Nazi or Klansmen or Supremist but actually a real down to earth guy that knows what its like to get cuaght up ina cult following like he did in 74 Oregon. He served with EOD and dive team in the US in the 60s and made his way North to save what was left of his family. Anyway, if you want to meet him, you can sometimes see him in Burrard Inlet with tons of gear on his Yak. Grey hair and lots of good widom. Don't judge the guy until you meet him, he'l probably buy you a coffee unless you dissed him after he left. 😳
