not sure where to post this. Beside each topic is an icon. Sometimes the font within the icon is moving, sometimes there's a star or other icon alongside. What does this mean? Who puts them there? Looked under FAQ, but didn't find the answer
I've always wondered that too!
When you make a new topic you can use the topic icon.
If the icon is "moving" it's a hot topic - meaning one with many replies and very active.
The question mark or other icons are as Gravlore said: the original poster can add the icon to the post by choosing it - it's close to where you put in the post title. HTH!
