I Just watched the National Geographic American Blackout 2013 video. It is very well done and convincing. It say 3 million preppers across America wow. I wonder how many in Australia. This sort of scenario could easily happen. Must see I found a link if you would like to watch it also.

I imagine programming like this will somewhat swell those numbers with more people taking a few more actions to be better prepared . I think the movement is growing and gaining in legitimacy despite the social stigma that extreme dramatization seems to garner. Still, extreme potential for drama from exponentially growing and converging risks situations is far ahead of the prepping movement , in my own opinion.

Thank you for posting the link 🙂

I saw this advertised and wanted to see it, but ended up having to work that night and missed it.

An interesting watch

I would say that preparedness trend is rising that people are being slightly more aware and 3 million preppers at some stage of planning for better preparedness is a start . More and more people have concerns and while I don't see a lot of them planting gardens yet. I do see them store an extra case of bottled water and some extra pantry items for an emergency.
