To anyone along the East Coast from Washington DC, through New York, Virginia, etc. good luck and if you remember your preparedness you should be fine! 🙂

The massive storm about to hit the East Coast is not bad persay for other areas of the USA which are used to this (And Atlantic Canada will get the same storm)...but places like New York and Washington are supposed to get 30-60cm of snow....where they usually get less than that in an entire season. They dont have the equipment or infrastructure to deal with that kind of storm.

We have friends in Washington who live a couple km's from the Whitehouse...they received notice from there Condo Corp. which was issued by State Emergency Authorities to fill there tubs and sinks with water, expect power to be knocked out and be ready to hunker down for 3-5 days. They also mentioned grocery stores in there area are completely bare... Whether its over reaction or not, makes for a stressful time....
