This isn't a Disaster that has happened yet, but the threat has been made to harm visitors and athletes at the Olympic games in Russia. If something happens, you'd better be ready. The global impact will be far-reaching and affect us all. ❗

Sorry for my ignorance, and while if anything were to happen it would be horrific, to be sure. But exactly how would it be far reaching, and impact us all? Strictly speaking from a prepped stance.

What's going on sounds more like political speak rather than credible threat.
