Venezuela crisis?

Has anyone else seen the Venezuela food crisis. I was watching a documentary today on how they have one of the biggest global oil reserves. However their money is over inflated and how the city of Caracas no longer has food coming in to feed it's people. About a year ago the government had already implemented a system that people had to scan their finger prints when they went shopping and could only buy in small quantities.There is more to this story, starting with the Chavez social government. Of course he passed away and there is a new government in charge.I am not trying for to start a fear thread, I am just curious on everyone's insight on this situation.Do you think this could happen here? Do you see the similarities?

What about the Ontario Crisis? So many jobs lost. So many people out of work. So many factories closing, closed. And now a Drought!
Ontario is turning into a "police state". Remember the G8 and Mr. Nobody? How about Officer Bubbles? Now the police are Militarizing. Bad Signs.
Ontario Crisis. Canada Crisis. The US is worse. Prepping and this website will grow fast in these conditions. What do you all think?
