I have a really dumb question. I have a stack of anti-static envelopes (600 in total so I would like to use them for something - beside electronic devices). I want to know if these would be safe for food storage. If they were vacuum sealed and stored in food grade buckets I don't believe light would be a factor. Nevertheless being a newbie, I am just not sure if they are safe for longer term food storage. I have tried to find info on the web but have been unsuccessful. Can anyone shed some light on this?

Hi Denise! I've never heard of anti static envelopes being used for food storage before 🙂 Probably because they are too expensive to be practical but since you already have them - good question! Do you know what they are made of?? plastic coated?

They seem to be a plastic type film. Silvery in colour, yet you still can see through them.
