I was in Value Village the other day and they had a large pile of small tins.
Some are about the size of geometry set boxes. Others are smaller - like altoid tins.

It has been driving me mad. I know that I could use them for "something" but I don't know what. 😛
I can't buy them for no reason, hoping I can use them, so I am taking a chance that they'll be there on Monday.

Any suggestions?

Thank you. 😀

I have been searching on-line and I think that I will make a few small medical kits, sewing and tooth care.
If I happen to have a few extra tins *ahem* then I will get more creative with the survival kits and home made lip balm.

I may have found my Xmas presents for some family members.

I'm looking for some 35mm film aluminum containers, they make good wick lamps and fit in some tea light candle lanterns.

Dont forget that you need a flat closed tin to make char. That cotton cloth or papper that is charcoalized, use for starting fires. You can make ovens out of the larger tins.

Great link Dangphool!

I went back to VV and they were all gone.
That is the risk you take walking away from stuff that catches your eye. 😛
