Cycled a few gas cans thru the vehicles to keep the stash fresh.
Worked on my Bug Out Bear Proof Bunker on Wheels Trailer.
Deprimed and cleaned brass scored at a gun show.
Ordered some mylar bags for 55 gallon drums.
Picked up three 45 gal water storage containers.
Started building a new larger aquaponics system.
Putting digital books on blacksmithing, medical, gardening, and reloading into hard copy. Doing the same for maps.
Searching leads for BOL in Kootenay area, and Cariboo area of BC.
Fired up the generator to keep it lubed.
Showing my neighbor's son how to make a recurve bow. Signed the RPAL papers, as a reference, for the other son. (I hope this isn't going to be a competition) HAHA. The more prepper neighbors, the better.
And that was just since Sunday. I'd get more done if it wasn't raining.

Busy Beaver!
I've been slaving away putting up fencing for chickens and vegetables...got a few firearms accessories yesterday too. 😉
Heya,
My wife wants chickens in the worst way. Went to the local by-law office, they said "No". Odd considering we are 65km from Vancouver, and they allow it there. Here, they are using the lame excuse that due to a past plague that besieged the local chicken farms, no one can have chickens at their homes. Since when do they come in contact with commercial birds? I would do it in a second, if I didn't have the by-law nazi living behind me. ( He has made the concerted effort to keep tabs on my growing cold frames). HA. Wonder if I can dress those birds up to look like fat invasive grey squirrels?

consider looking into quail, they normally don't fall under the same rules as chickens..

Umm... you might want to look into 4H clubs, if you got kids. Those kids might want to be raisin' chickens. 😉
Now once those chickens are 'pets' to show at the 4H, the story might be able to be changed. Some places its now allowed, providing they are in the 4H club.
Many clubs are in LML. 🙂
Do some innocent asking around to see if that would pass muster with your local yokels first. Not sure, but maybe even 4H could tell you if that would be allowed with a simple phone call to them.
Good luck.

This is why I like hedges and landcaping for privacy. Water features make a great noise buffer as well. 😉 Sounds like control over the population more so than prevention of disease.
Heya,
We have no kids here. As for hedges. I have a 10 ft slope, with a 6' fence on it. Still very easy for the neighbors above me to look down, even though my house is surrounded by trees. One of the neighbors is talking about going to town council to get the by law rescinded. Don't want them in the house, garage or carport. Can't stand the smell of em my self. My aunt had a chicken farm and that amino poop smell stays with you a long time. Looking for property so maybe I'll end up having to wait for that to be finalized then set things up there. Love the idea of Quail. Will check into that.

Mini Survival Folding Spade, 6" (15cm) Spring Clamp, 2x Foldable Card-Shaped Razor & Mirror,

I grew up on Looney Tunes, Marx Brothers mvies and Robin Williams, Enter my mind at your own risk
got some cheap dried red kidney beans in 8lb bag. Bought a bunch of AA's that were on sale at crappy tire.
Got the gardens going ( at last!). Bought some tattler lids and canning jars, harvested some rhubarb and made 2L of Rhubarb / Pineapple jam which is in 8 250ml jars and cooling on my counter as we speak 🙂
Also got some more fire starters .... I feel like I've done nothing for months with this house move......
Rebuilding my Can rotator today. Godam movers! Cycling through my home canned goods. Taking inventory 🙂
Gardens planted, chickens and turkeys ordered, green house veggies potted up and reloaded some 45-70 ammo. 😀
Just put together a brooding box, and off to get the first round of chickens!
Did that today...the kids love 'em!
