For those of us who have served in one form of military service or another, full timers and reserves, Sound Off.
Army: 6-½ years, Combat Engineers, (Sapper): Soft skin vehicles, 1/4 t -5 t transport, Heavy Equip. water treatment, bridge and bunker construction. Pistol 9mm-50 cal. mg., Law -Karl G, and things that go Boom.
Airforce: 13-½ years, Aero Engine Tech. (Fitter): T:114 Tutor/Snowbird, F-18 maintenance, Special projects and Modification. 20/25 term Golden handshake.
Civil side: Mechanical Design Technologist, Tinker.

Army Reserves, RC Sigs ( back in the day), Reg Force PPCLI Infantry... in Civilian life, Structural Fitter, Mechanical Fitter, Structural welder, High Pressure Pipe Welder, Reg Nurse.
British Army 7 years....watched 'Commando' over 600 during my stint and 'First Blood' over 900 times, so im well versed and trained in killing hundreds of people at once. I watched them that much I actually suffered PTSD, and spent 6 of the 7 fine, military years I put in at the psychiatric ward being deprogramed from believeing I was a 240lb Austrian body builder turned actor.

17 years infantry (1 PPCLI) with 3 tours in the Balkins and one tour of Afghanistan. 14 years as a part time bouncer and 3 years full time. 3 years as a welder, a year as a plumber. 3 years teaching karate. A few years in the oilfield and a couple years driving truck. 2 years full time working close protection, now part time. Finally, I'm currently working as a pistol shooting coach. I almost forgot, a couple of years as a construction carpenter and about 5 or 6 years as a cabinetmaker.
Those who are unwilling to defend freedom, will become unfree.

Me 20 years air force and 14 years WASF/BDF went operational after 911
From 1974-81, Field Engineers, Chiliwack and Germany (changed name to Combat Engineers in 78), in 81 I went AET, Moose Jaw, B-S Germany and retired in Borden. Was BDF in/ Desert storm 1.

14 years armoured, with 8 years assault troop (Somalia and Bosnia), 2 years in scout troops (Cougar Recce in Bosnia), 2 years in Squadron HQ as Coyote gunner and 2 years in Transport driving the 10-ton. I changed trades and now I'm in small unit HQ in Ottawa vetting reports from across Canada.
I possess a particular skill set which makes me unique.
