Gail Vaz Oxlade is my hero. In a culture of soft approaches and passing the blame for financial mismanagement...she calls it like it is.
For some, it may just be reinforcing that fiscal prudence is the right approach..and for others she may offer some great ideas in how to better budget and manage money. Either way, she's a refreshing voice in "personal responsibility" when it comes to finances, and planning how to live within your means. It was touched on in another thread..and I didn't want money to hijack that thread...so I posted her stuff here. Its simple stuff, simple ideas, and whether you make minimum wage or in the top tax bracket she tells it like it is.

I will never say she's dumb. Far from it. I just wish she would can the haughtiness. She could be blunt, yet not so smarmy.
When I still had cable, I watched her. But we haven't had cable for a decade, as part of financial planning and avoiding the 'bread and circuses'.
