Not what you think. The gentleman is a Professor of Geography from a UK University. (I think.)
For a few years he embedded himself with Preppers in America to learn and understand what and how and why. The term was ethnographic researchy. Very interesting talk on what he observed, and different ideas he absorbed during his time. If only journalists and media could be as measured and objective in their reporting.

He also has some great content on line about subterranean dwellings, urban exploration, etc. tied back to the necessity of survival. All from a Geographers perspective...which frankly is refreshing to see this outlook.

Reminds me a bit of the people that wrote the Foxfire series of books. Will add this to my books to buy list.
