We are ready!! Lots of gas for the Generator, vehicles filled, Water, Food ( for us and the 2 cats) entertainment, books to read, shovel by the door in case we do get a dump of snow, weather radio operating, batteries charged, propane for the BBq ,extra wood brought in. All Is A go!
I think that if we are socked in for a while I take this time to get my Hunting Gear checked out and ready for the Rifle Hunt opening on the 5th... looking forward to that 🙂

I just noticed that my girlfriend brought home a bunch of candles today... all scented.
That still counts as a prep right? 🙂

If your home library contains more volumes about survival-related topics than your local public library, you might be a prepper.
Any one with a sinus condition, knows, scented candles are painful to us. Please use in moderation, and save a sinus. Thank you, thank you very much.

Well, we brought the stallion in the barn since he's chewed holes in his rain shed, charging (again) all the batteries, brought the rabbit shelter into the barn aisle to keep the babies warm and cozy, cleaned up the stuff the stallion threw across the barn (apparently he COULD reach that bag of rabbit feed), think next I'll take my broke behind to the Bulk Barn and see what I can get. Lucky me, its baking week in school, so I can home with 24 sweet dinner rolls, 4 baguettes, and 3 loafs of white pan bread. Although the rolls tasted a bit like soft pretzels, so they didn't hang around too long 🙂
We lost power for about half and hour this morning, so now that it's back on I'm plugging in everything! It's stopped raining and the winds have calmed, so it's making me nervous! It is quiet. Too quiet. 😕

I picked up a lot of them last boxing day. I also picked up a ceramic shade that fits right on top of the jar.

Great tips and ideas, thanks to you, I potentially avoided a branch smashing through my window, gutters clogging causing flooding, sinus problems, and a hangover free Tuesday among many other very important issues.
