Which gun to buy

I like the cz858 it's a nice rifle doesn't wholesale sports sell them

wholesale had 4 of the csa v58 variant when I bought mine last month. I think they were all sold by the next weekend.

I'd call first if you were driving in. Also, be prepared to wait a long time before you can buy any spare banana clips of either calibre... bastards are waaay behind on orders anywhere that I've looked online 🙁

Attended the gunshow today and I only found 2 booths that had cz858 / vz58 and one was wolverine supply but neither had magazines on-hand. Wolverine had the drums. I was rather disappointed at the lack of vendors for the '858/variants; as every 3rd booth had something to do with an AR platform (wasn't that many but felt like it). None of the local stores have magazines nor have had any for some time according to their sales rep. I only bought in February so I've only been looking since then.

I did find a lead today for a new store in Edmonton that may carry '858 accessories though and I'll check them out when I have to go up for work next time. I should clarify that they are new to me, not a new store. Maybe I'll get lucky. I have about 10 online stores that I check on a weekly basis across Canada without getting lucky so far.

I did find some non-corrosive 7.62x39 and it was quite expensive but beggars can't be choosers I suppose. I do hope to get out with the rifle tomorrow if the nice weather holds and try some of the shiny new rounds.

Check corwin-arms for CZ858/VZ58 7.62X39 mags. Corwin Arms doesn't show the 5/30s on their website but has them available. 5/20s as well. Just contact him through email.
Also, Zahal.org out of Israel has 30 rd. mags pinned to 5 for the Canadian market.

I was able to purchase spare mags from zahal.org

It looks like they got some stock in as they are still available on their website.
