Flu Shot Season: 2009 Immunization Phenomenon May Not Be Just A 'Canadian Problem'
TORONTO - A strange vaccine-related phenomenon spotted at the start of the 2009 flu pandemic may well have been real, a new study suggests.
Canadian researchers noticed in the early weeks of the pandemic that people who got a flu shot for the 2008-2009 winter seemed to be more likely to get infected with the pandemic virus than people who hadn't received a flu shot. Five studies done in several provinces showed the same puzzling and unsettling results. But initially research outside of Canada did not, and the effect was dismissed as "the Canadian problem." News of the unexpected findings broke at a time when countries in North America and parts of Europe were getting ready to start vaccinating their populations against the pandemic virus. Some jurisdictions were also trying to figure out whether to offer the seasonal flu vaccine they had purchased — similar to the 2008-2009 shot — along with the pandemic vaccine, in case the seasonal flu viruses continued to circulate. Quebec opted not to offer the seasonal vaccine because of the concerns raised by the studies. Many people in the flu research and public health communities found the whole event unhelpful, and many rejected the findings. Some suggested if there was a problem, it might have been with the flu vaccine used in Canada, because the problem wasn't seen elsewhere. But a new study suggests the findings may indeed have been real.

From the above article..."A group of Canadian researchers recreated the event in ferrets, the best animal model for predicting how influenza will act in humans. They worked with animals because it would have been unethical to subject people to the health risks the work entailed." Yet it was deemed ethical to give humans the initial vaccine..?????? 👿 ... I haven't had a flu shot in years and I WORK in healthcare... and I will maintain that choice.
Mine to. I have never had a flu shot and I do not intend to get one anytime soon.
My wife rejected a job because of forced immunizations. I had a shot back in 03 but never since.
Side note. I turned into an anti-vaccination person due to the fact that our kids vomited a lot over a 2 day period and our son stopped talking within a month of the shot. He was saying about 30 words and now says 1. They can take that poison and shove it straight up their collective asses!

Good God, Gravlore....what a NIGHTMARE. How is your son now? How long ago was this? What kind of shot was it?? What a horrible thing to go through...
and you are certainly not the first person i have heard this from...how do you go against the 'medical establishment' if you have always put your faith in them??? really, what's a parent to do? I feel for you, i really do.
To me, the only answer is to inform yourself....question everything....
I am very fortunate in that i am deathly allergic to penicillin, Tetracycline's, macrolytes, sulfa's, erythromycin....i don't know if i'm spelling them wrong, (nurse!) but i never take any shots. ever.
Dr. Scott Johnson has some very good teachings on avian flu, and the potential for a pandemic...he talks a lot about Jesus, so if that won't turn you off, i highly recommend listening to him...(on you tube, or his website, 'contending for truth')...He is a big fan of taking colloidal silver...

definitely two things worth looking into, especially if you have young children and a family to take care of...and if and when there comes a time where you cannot get antibiotics, these will be something you will definitely want to have on hand...
pardon me if i am coming across abrasively, but health is definitely something i feel very passionate about...it's imperative that we take our health into our own hands, because the government DEFINITELY doesn't have your best interests at heart....you are very wise to buck the system, Gravlor...I only hope there was no permanent damage to your son... 🙁

She is a nurse in the Saskatchewan Health Region. As for my son, it was his 18 month shots and he got them when he was at 24 months. We have a roll of .9999 purity silver maples and I do understand how the colloidal works (not sure about it yet) since I have made browns gas generators. I believe it is the same principal but getting the concentrations is something I have to look in to.

I could not agree more. As with any government provided system, sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. It can cure you or it can kill you. Best to be fully informed and take the lion's share of your health care into your own hands. A good example of how the system "works" is the wait time in emerge in Sudbury Ontario which recently clocked a new all time high at 19 hours! There is a fine example of how efficient the system really is. Would you put your faith in such a system?
Also in Ontario high school students are threatened with suspension if they do not have all the required vaccinations. Personally I find that offensive. Don't get me wrong I am not against all vaccinations. Right now I am getting another tetanus shot and a hepatitis shot as they are needed for my work. Needed for my protection not mandatory. Taking any vaccination should always be a matter of personal choice. I have always drawn the line at flu shots partly because of the adjuvant and partly because the nature of the vaccine is based on a best guess.
ICRCC I have to mention that my youngest just graduated from an Ontario public high school and he has never had ANY immunizations, like his siblings. A parent can fill out a 'Statement of Conscience or Religious Belief Affidavit, Immunizations of School Pupils Act, 1990' to exempt their child from immunizations while attending school. That's what i did. they can stick there vaccine up there you no what. and same with the hpv,
I had the last laugh about getting theses forms from our health department, almost threatening me of suspending my kids from school if they didn't get the vaccine. Man oh man, did they pick the wrong house to say that to. i went in there with a arm load of doc saying how bad vaccine were, double blind studies, i ask them to show me there safety doc. they shut up pretty fast.
