I used a product called fast joint care plus and another called fast arthritis plus both made by "genuine health".The main ingredient was NEM or natural eggshell membrane. Expensive though.About a dollar a capsule.I took it as long as my pension afforded it.It worked incredibly for an arthritic hip that eventually was replaced surgically.It along with sierra sil kept me sane.I would recommend it to anyone unless you are allergic to eggs.Better than prescription painkillers.

Double check before assuming you are allergic to eggs. I was thought to be allergic to eggs but could eat farm eggs with no ill effects. I am allergic to penicillin, turns out the factory eggs are laced with it because it is in the feed. Just a thought.

So,unless genuine health was using farm eggs,the product they sold will no doubt have traces of penicillin in it.Never thought of that.Thanks doglover.

Thanks for the info. I can't eat "store" eggs without getting very sick but had no problems when I had some eggs from Anita. I wonder what the trigger is for me that is in store eggs.

Take your pick of the multiple chemicals that are used to maintain the health of these caged birds, not to mention the living conditions that may also infect them. The was an out break of salmonella in the US a few years ago that was finally traced to the eggs from a farm that supplied a national chain. As you can see, it is possible that any number of variables could be the cause. If you are allergic, even mildly, to any drug it is possible that is the culperat. You have another source though so that is not a big problem for you, but it never ceases to amaze me how little most people know about where their food comes form or what may be in it.
