Hey there commrades of prepperdom!
I am a new member whos been into prepping for awhile now. Im living in the Fraser Valley and I have scoped out many good locations for getting out when the shtf, depending on where I am and how much time I have to escape. I have about 4 months of food, all kinds of supplies and tools and of course a healthy supply of firearms and ammo. I, like many here Im sure, am never satisfied with my stash so Im always adding to it.
I believe the most threatening events Im preparing for are: Nuclear fallout from Japan, Economic collapse and civil unrest. Though I gotta say, I really hope its not the first one.

I've always felt more at home in the bush than I have in the concrete jungle. I'd gladly give up my flat-screen for a river, my cell-phone for a mountain and my computer for a campfire with family and friends. I'm tired of having to fill out a form to wipe my own bottom, and as wierd as it sounds, I welcome a return to a simpler more natural life. I wasn't born to punch keys, I was born to build cabins and grow and kill my own foods.

So thats a little about me. Just another BC boy who's more than ready to live in the trees...

Welcome.
Having lived in Vancouver for way too many years I am familiar with the Fraser Valley and what it can hold in the way of prepper advantages.
While it is too near to Seattle and of course Vancouver for my liking I do understand and admire the beauty and nature that it holds.
I wish you well and look forward to hearing more from you in the future.
