I was reading on another thread where you said you had run 2 honda eu1000's to dust.
If you dont mind could you flesh that out a little more?
for example..how many hours did you hit on each before they were toast? what problems did you encounter with them, and roughly at what hours did problems develop? did you/were you able to make repairs yourself or did they require shop service?
What finally killed them engine or alternator problem? what was there prime use for, batt charging, or providing 120 vac?
any other details of your experience with them?

Just back to add if anyone else has run up large hrs on these units I would like to know your experience

Wow. lucky I stopped in. Ive decided to walk away from the computer for a while. Ive developed an aversion to it.
Quik answer....I cant remember. Alternator and electronic problems mainly. They were blowin smoke near the end from engine ware. Don't get me wrong. Fantastic machine. just not up for being your only source of electricity , day in day out, for years. Very handy if you just want a mobile source of power to be used on the occasional trip or to get a job done. Extremely quiet. Ild still run in when squatting in a city without worrying about attracting the cops.

I have a Tactical Harness and I have a Tool Belt. The Tool Belt is more Useful.

too bad, Im always tracking that kind of stuff myself.I hear they have one out that only produces DC, I just dont know anyone running one to get feedback from, but it should produce outstanding fuel economy.
