Garlic works good which is a natural antibiotic. You have to crush the clove to release the allacin, then cut it up into pill sized bits and swallow like a pill. It works really great. Tea tree oil is also a great antibiotic alternative and it has been used for centuries for its healing properties and ability to fight infection. It can be placed directly on the area that has the infection and you can gargle with it as well.

If this has been talked about on here, forgive the repeat but I would recommend considering researching and adding Yarrow to your garden and alternative to antibiotics, it has mild antibiotic properties but when you combine that with its ablitity to work with wounds and bleedings, its very much worth its weight in your home-grown med cabinet and healing garden.

We also have to think of aches & pains etc., for which willow bark is supposed to be very good. It would be much like the ``aspirin`` of today.
