5.2 earthquake with a 4.8 aftershock near Ottawa.
I live about 100 kilometers from the epicenter but just thought it was a truck. However my daughter was woken up by the house shaking violently. It was even felt in Kitchener I heard.

Here in the west end of Ottawa, we had heavy construction eqpt working nearby. I thought that for some unknown reason the eqpt was coming right up to our house! Didn't take much more than a few seconds to realize that it was a quake. Both dogs woke up and looked at me as if asking me what they should do. We went outside and they were happy. Nothing broken in the house. Just a mild rattling.
