So I've found Briden Insiders mentioned a few times in posts on the board...and for the sake of not putting 9 bucks down to register, will it be worth my time and monthly fee? Does anyone know if It's full of users? Anyone in Southern Ontario a member? Seems like it could be a good resource, but only if there are local folks on there. Anyone have any ideas?

I just had a look and saw that there are 4 other users within 50 miles of your location.

Yes, four within 50 miles, and only six within 100 miles. I ended up singing up last night anyway, 14 day free trial...worth a try I thought. I don't think I'll keep the account though.

If you purchase the monthly deal, it is worth it.
Bought two of the Chef's buckets and saved over $50 on each of them...

The forums are definitely not as developed as here with a lot fewer people partaking than here. IPN has years of knowledge in the archives, literally a library with years' worth of reading, whereas the Insiders is just a wee little poem in comparison.

All depends on what you're looking for.

I was wondering the same thing about Bridens new forum....

So a for profit company is charging a monthly fee to gain access to its board. Who would sign up for that if you can find hundreds of preparedness forums on the net...including IPN with tonnes of information...all for free.

Yes, that does seem to be the only benefit, getting the monthly deal. In comparison, IPN is a wealth of knowledge, resources, points of view...where insiders is simply the opposite. Ill do the $9/month for a few month and see what deals come up...as long as it's something I'm interested in purchasing, and the deal far surpasses that $9...I'll be a happy guy. And really, if you've saved $100 in one month on there, you're set for the next 11 month's with your cost covered...so rake in those deals my friend.

It will definitely take time to develop their forums.
The Insiders is also designed to allow people to form "alliances" and to seek out others in similar geographical locations.

You can match yourselves based on skills you have or skills you seek for example.

Just another tool for like-minded individuals to use.
