Just going over the Cdn Tire Q&A page for this item. It may be helpful.

Hey there Folks. I'll add my own input here. I am no expert in Solar but I did pick up 4 of these 40W panels a few years back when they were on sale.

I put them up a short time ago. The angles are not perfect and will be better turned later. But with a clear sunny sky the highest reading I saw out of my 20A MPPT solar charge controller was about 3.5 Amps. A fair way off from the 13A it should be getting. I know I can get if I tweak the angles a little more but once again I am disappointed by the stuff from Canadian Tire...

I hear there are much better/cheaper panels out there these days... $1/Watt

For larger installations only go with a reputable solar power equipment dealer. That's my two cents.

When bad men combine, the good must associate; else they will fail, one by one, an unpitied sacrifice in a contemptible struggle.
