THANK YOU Farmgal and Adagio! You organized an outstanding day at a great facility. I totally loved the indoor washrooms 😆 . The sheep's milk cheeses were unbelievably delicious! And I look forward to planting more edibles in my gardens - I certainly learned a lot from that session.
I did miss the personal introductions and the barter/swap table from years past.....
Hats off to both of you! And my personal thanks!

hello, I did come on today to find two more pm's waiting for me in my box.. I am sorry that I did not get them in time, I do not know why I did not see them on Friday at my last check, I was up an moving by 5 am on Saturday and will admit to not checking that day.

I hope you all enjoyed the day and that you all learned a thing or two. I know I always do. Farmgal is indeed a wealth of knowledge. Rabbits 101, protein from thin air and the cheese making (and tasting - my favorite part) were all a big hit. I especially liked the sheep's milk ice cream. But then again it could have been the Tzatziki. So yummy.....Thank you so much Farmgal for making it not only informative but also for all the good laughs.

I also want extend my thanks to our other speaker. The Ottawa Garderner, a well noted speaker from the area. It was great to have her at the event.

And last but not least thanks to those that helped with the clean up. It was greatly appreciated.

I was sorry to have missed it this year. From what I understand Farmgal & Adagio did a great job putting this together...as usual!

Thanks to the SCOBY from Adagio, I made my first kombucha 🙂 I did a 2nd bottling with some pureed strawberry from a July upick, to make it a bit fizzier, and the results were impressive. It tastes like a light strawberry spritzer. I admit the baby SCOBY was a bit gross, but once you get past it, pretty easy & low maintenance. I think I will continue to make more. Thanks Adagio 🙂

I'm glad you like it. I too prefer the 2nd fermentation over the 1st. You should try different fruit combinations to see what you like best.
