Been working on the fridge in my camper today. Amazed at the efficiency of an evaporation technology, a 20 pound propane tank can last 1 month on max cold or 2 months on cool enough. Could be fired with a candle, or fire, maybe a double boiler would be best for stable temperatures. Might have to get one for the summer

We converted a chest freezer into a fridge using a simple thermostatic override..... It just sips power. We have been using this setup as our primary fridge for several years now.

If you coupled that with this room evaporator to bring the temp down another 30 degrees in the room, might be helpful.
