Saw a brief report on CNN Saturday that said a decision by the US govt is coming up about how much ethanol is to be mixed with gasoline. Apparently Big Oil has been strongly lobbying for a significant reduction or elimination of ethanol altogether. This does not bode well for the consumer as the speculation is that regardless of whatever decision is, business analysts are speculating that in order to improve profitability gas prices will increase regardless.

Interesting that as originally conceieved, diesel fuel was originally envisioned and conceived as a renewable biofuel.
