Reposted from the general Canadian section as most of you that I know are mainly in here anyway,

Hey guys,

Not a business post (yet) so didnt want to post in the business ad section.

What would the interest be in stand alone (not sold with mre's), new manufacture mre heater that are much faster and hotter than the standard ones, have a longer shelf life and are available to ship anywhere in Canada?

An opportunity has been presented to me through some other prepper contacts and if there is enough interest it may be something I will take advantage of.

Specs/Pricing will follow once I know more and if the market (you guys) are interested.

Let me know, either reply or shoot me a PM.

I guess it would depend on price...
If there is not enough interest here, PM me...
I may know a few people that could be interested in the whole lot.
My personal opinion...I think they would be great for heating up those Mountain House, Thrive, or other brands of free dried pouches!
Quick...easy to use...no smell or smoke.

Ditto what GM1 said.

'Interested, but depends on price.'

Hi,
I am not sure how these work. Could they be used to melt snow/ice into water. If so I would be interested.

First off - Denob, this would not be a one off deal, I dont have just a lot to sell, I am negotiating becoming the Canadian distributor for this company.
Price wise guys, I dont have a concrete number yet. but it would be most likely less than $2 each (probably including shipping) but this is all an educated guess at best for now.

Yes you could use them to melt snow/ice you would just need to carry a ziplock bag with you to put it into. Also while it would take a little longer to activate, the reaction can be started with snow if you dont have water to use

Yes, there is a pouch contained inside and once activated it goes through its heating cycle and is then used up.
