Sorry for my inactivity on the forum lately. I have been working and taking condensed night classes for 6 hours a week. And because of those night classes i will NOT be able to come tomorrow. I need to study for a midterm exam and the weekend is my only time to do so.

Hopefully I can make it to the next meet because I would really like to learn some new things from you all! Have a great time tomorrow!

Those rainy days you were saving for...may not be quelled by cash.

Really glad you made it Oldschool! See you tomorrow.....
There's a chance of thunderstorms......heaven knows we desperately need the rain. But yes, it'll be VERY hot -38C with the humidex!

Wonderful and children are welcome, you are not the only one with small ones, so there will be friends to play with 🙂

Thank you to everyone that came out to the gathering, I believe that we had a total head count of 19, at least half was local but the other half drove amazing distances to come to the get together! It was so nice to put names to faces.

Great visiting was to be had, the food table was full to overflowing, some interesting show and tell, and everyone went home with a little something new to add to their prepping collection.

Love my new plants that came home with me and will enjoy their bountry for many years to come, and will be sure to pass it forward when it comes time to split them 🙂

It was so nice meeting you all and hope everyone had as good of time as myself and DH did..

It was a terrific meeting! I'm amazed at the wide range of ages: from around 2 yrs old to 73 years old!! The wee ones were SO well behaved and looked like they had a good time too. Thanks Farmgal, for taking the time to hang those eye-catching red balloons and buying all those little prepper 'prizes' - the site was awesome! The 'Secret Prepper' gifts were alot of fun, too. 'Show and Tell' was excellent, with the Faraday Cage/Can, Battery/Solar operated devices, MRA meal rations, EcoZoom cooker, etc.
I want to personally thank the people from Quebec, Venezuela (now Montreal), those from southern Ontario, our Northern Ontario surprise Prepper, and of course all the 'local' people who came out. It was SO nice meeting all of you. And All that food was wonderful!!
Again, THANK YOU everyone!

Just got back home after the meet (did a little shopping in Orleans before heading back to Quebec). We had a great time meeting with the people outside the forum environment. Nothing will show you how "normal" we preppers are than talking with them face to face. I am looking forward to getting that compost into the garden and planting the mint also. I was happy to see people still getting into prepping and not just the same old preppers at the meet. I am looking forward to growing the relationships we made today!

Just got back (8:30pm) from the meet. What a great day; interesting and informative talk, great show and tell items, super lunch and a nice swap but most of all excellent company! Thank you so much farmgal for putting it together. Well worth the drive. Nice to meet you all.
