OK then. Let's confirm a meeting at the Arby's on Wellington south of the 401 for Sunday, February 23 at 1:00 pm. Mule Skinner, I'd love to see your solar furnace! Perhaps with that in mind, we will talk about keeping warm when you live in the city (or wherever) and do not have wood or an alternative heating source. I know that's my biggest concern. I rent my house, have no fireplaces, let alone a wood stove, and rely on gas heating.

For those of you who are interested and couldn't make the meeting today, we have decided to meet regularly. For now, meetings are set for the last Sunday of every other month, which means the next meeting is the last Sunday of April. This way, you can plan ahead and be there 😉
Just throwing this out there, everyone. Do any of you feel it would be prudent to meet this month, on Sunday March 30, rather than waiting until April, given the increasing tension in Ukraine. Of course, it may not amount to more than a slap on the wrist for Russia, via sanctions and the like, but the reason we do what we do as preppers is because of the "just in case." Right? Personally, I wouldn't mind getting a bit of a jump on this communication topic.

I have been thing of using a message board ( not internet, a physical) type idea using colored markers and a message drop off place for communications between people/groups.
