I am looking into having our next meet at a local sporting club. The club is members only, so the meeting is by invite only. Not to say all London area preppers aren't welcomed to come, I just need a head count beforehand so both I and the club can plan for it. Grouchy is right, we are looking at April 26th.

Was at the EESA club today from about 10 till 2, had to take a mental health day from work and just enjoy some range time AND THE LOVLY BRIGHT THING in the sky.

To recap, the gathering this month will be at a sports club. April 26th, 1:00pm -> ? All are welcomed to come out and enjoy an afternoon of target shooting and talking. There should be hamburgs/hot dogs on the grill for sale, but I'll confirm that tonight. I/we have a few firearms to shoot such as SKS, M4, and handguns but you can bring your own firearms and ammo. Be sure to bring eye and ear protection for yourself. If you don't have any, I'll have a few extras. PM me if you're coming. I do need a head count. Include in your PM if you want to bring any restricted firearms and need a written invite for your ATT. I'll reply with the club name and address and invite if you need it.

I will be making 3 gongs at work if that's ok to bring to the range for peeps to shoot at if that's ok? (old gongs at 100 m range are shoot) get it shoot 😆 ..... ok that was bad 🙄
Its much nicer I think for new shooters to hear and see they hit something rather then wondering if they hit anywhere on a piece of paper.

I would like go to the meeting tomorrow. I don't have a fire arm but where can and I would like to know where is it.

The weather looks much better than anticipated. We are a go for today, but be advised that the kitchen may not be open. Please eat beforehand, or pack some food.

Unfortunately I didn't read this until after the fact.

So how did it go? Was there a good turn out?

If another of these meets are planned at a range (and I see the message in time), I'd definitely try to make it out.

It was a fun day for me, and I think for the others as well. We came, we saw, we shot holes in paper and even had a metal gong to hit as well (thanks to Grouchy).
A bit too cold though. The turn out was as expected, with one or two unable to attend. I think the next meet will be back at Arby's, but I'm just guessing.
