Hello Folks

I was able to get out for one year last year and felt that I got a good amount of worth while information overall, some courses better then others as will always happen, but none the less, I do intend to get out again this year!, I know that we have alot of folks that are interested in producing their own food and working with their land in a natural way.

I can honestly say that with last years drought, the hugelbeds were without a doubt the outstanding producers for the season and the food forest is growing by leaps and bounds here on the farm.. plus you can spend time with farmgal and get some prepping talk in on breaks and lunches! Here is hoping that we can get a good little turn out of some of the ottawa preppers to this event, if you read up on the different things there are right up there, come on there is even animal tracking training available!!

Date: Saturday, March 23, 2013 – 09:15 – Sunday, March 24, 2013 – 16:30

Gee thanks Farmgal! This year I'm going to read your link and try to register this weekend. I've been trying to read up on it (I even think I already use this principle) and I just love to go to workshops and talk it up with others. Your report from last year left me wishing I had gone.
Maybe I'll see you there and we can have lunch together.....

Its free to sign up now and you can just let them know if you can't make it, they say donation between ten to twenty per day, but that no one is ever turned away due to them paying or not.. so its very reaonable in price.

Hope lots of folks make it out this year, we coud have a nice prepper visit on the lunch time 🙂

Wendy will be hosting a knowledge cafe that will explore the topic of “Food paths and how to get to our destination”. Question to be explored will be:

•Why would you care if the food trucks stopped coming from California?
•Imagine this is happening now?
•What plan and path could we take?
•How can we apply the principles of permaculture to help us with our plan?
•We encourage all participants the conventional thinkers and nonconventional?

I am taking mostly advanced class overall, and I am thrilled with the line up.. if you are looking for me and have not meet me before, I will be in black cap with the zipper flower on it.. come saw hello..

Dh has picked his own, some are overlap but most are not, he is going for animal tracking, Growing nut tree's among others.
