Hi, of course you are welcome to come and i know at least one other person is not planning on coming till around noon and i hope that we will be getting at least a two hour visit in before she needs to head back home ( i hope oddduck) i know others need to leave by 1 as well, so can't say who would still be there or not.

However long way to drive for a hour to hour plus meet and greet, might want to consider holding off till the summer outdoor meets, which start mid morning, pot luck and afternoon visiting, show tell, work project etc.. up to you of course, we will be working on at least three ottawa area meets..

That awesome news, as i know a number of folks coming also garden, if anyone wants to do a baby seed or started plant swap let me know if there is a interest, and i will bring some with me..

I won't be able to make it this time. but please keep me posted for the Larose Forest one this summer. I live close to there, so it would be fun to meet and get some ideas from seasoned preppers. (being that I consider myself a newbie)

I'm going to drive up friday night or Saturday morning and hang out and explore our nations capital for a weekend, my car should get me there and back for $100 in gas and a hotel is 80 a night so that won't break me- I need a vacation anyways , so count me in. The Kanata meeting location is just around the corner from where I wanted to settle to it would be great to meet the locals. If anybody wants to meet before just let me know. Is there a show and tell after?

No Show and Tell that I am aware of given we are at a local Swiss Chalet but if you have someone small to bring, that would be fine. Folks are welcome to bring seeds if they want to do a little seed swapping at the event.

A seed swap would be nice, I will bring one of the 510,000 count seed kits you guys can check out.

Normally, I would be up for it, but I already have the first Montreal meetup on the 13th...2 in as many days is tough!

I might not be able to make it after all. Apparently, my bees might be arriving on the 13th.

1 hive now and one later. They will confirm Sat. if it is going to be Sunday or Monday. I guess it depends on the weather and how the trip goes. Since they are going through the trouble of personally delivering them and making time to do some 'splaining I need to give them priority. If the bees are delivered on Monday, I will be at the meet.

Horseradish's are up, if anyone wants some for their place, let me know and I will pot some up and bring it for you to the meeting, same with stinging nettles if you don't already have your patch.. I will see if anything else is up enough on saturday to get a little something out if anyone is interested.. watch for a updated list..

Farmgal, I just finished digging up some Hops for you - I can't believe how frozen some of the ground still was! I wanted to get it potted up before the storm hits on Friday - then I might not be able to see it under all that snow! lol
Thanks, but I don't need anymore horseradish or st. nettle. Any extra strawberries? This summer I can bring more comfrey when it's up too.

Hi Prepher, That's awesome and I for sure would love more comfrey if you can part with it..

The strawberries are still under a solid foot of snow at this time but perhaps later in the season its possable for you..
