not sure if you'd get arrested for it, but chloroform is pretty easy to make at home and there are a couple thousand videos on how to make smoke bombs on youtube - just saying a chloroform popper would deal with intruders pretty quick in a pinch, you would just want to have masks in your bedroom with you
Hmm... Chlorophorm it a high volume bear mace can. Interesting
another home invasion in our area and no news coverage. this is why I am getting my guns back. the cops are never there till after the crime and I will not let my family be victims to another's greed or addiction. I will keep my home safe thank you.

Dude, Facebook and twitter, the Hamilton police service, and request that they release the information on the page. They got over 10000 followers, people just as concerned as you, some probably living within the vicinity. They report on everything carjacking, stabbing, shooting, child porn possession, all that crap. Contact the press yourself and make a report. Collect data, descriptions, time, etc.

https://www.facebook.com/HamiltonPolice
Not only that, but they release information, descriptions, traits of the criminal, to the public. Try working with the cops.
Who's gonna protect your family when you're in jail? Don't forget you kill someone, you'll never be allowed to own a firearm again. Try working with the community, instead of barricading yourself in paranoid isolation. There are others like you. You need to find them, coordinate on community projects, focusing on safety, crime prevention, and charity.
In terms of home defense, you got alarm system? A dog? Bear spray? pepper spray? Extendable baton? Stun gun? Handcuffs or zip ties? Motion detecting lights? Do you physically train in combat? Boxing, MMA, wrestling, baton training, knife combat or whatever...
Are all locks and doors secure? SUPER secure? Do you keep the tv on and a few low power lights on when the house is empty?
EDIT- If you see suspicious behaviour or otherwise someone parked within your vicinity, record license plates, models, colour, rims, year, details of suspect all that crap. A notepad and pen can be a powerful deterrent to prevention and repeating incidents of crime. VIGILANCE!
Try the cop thing first. You never know.

A good time to invest in spf3000 if you live on the NK penninsula.
Oh November 17, how I fear thee...
Hi folks
My first line is a can of wasp spray at each door incase someone " bugs me "
It is not as frowned on as much as say pepper spray
And don't forget a roll of quarters in the pocket in case you " have to make change for some one "
We live in a society of wolves ,
We can't fight back by creating more sheep
I've consider caltrops are great little nasty devices to place on the floor by a door and window . Anyone stepping on one of these nasty mean little devils is one , gonna supply the alarm for anyone in the house , 2 will be demobilized . Caltrops are easy to make , there are small and very easy to deploy . there's a bunch of you tube vid on making these things . Now as for how legal they are to have not sure .
