i've meet over 150 preppers, mostly Americans, but i bet that 90% of those preppers are sci-fi geeks.
i have my limits.
star trek, star wars, zombies, terminators, EOTW movies, sometimes aliens but not much . . .
i'm not in to all the battle star, star gate, etc. i've never been to comic con, or dragon con, or any of those.
i use to play magic the gathering, i've played a little AD&D, and me and a friend wrote our own RPG JSDED (Just dead) it was a cross of D&D and shadowrun. . . it was fun but i couldn't play them for 3 days like my friends could (i had a job and a girlfriend in high school lol)
while i'm not a complete sci fi geek prepper, i'll punch out anyone that talks bad about the trek or the trilogy lol (kidding)

Okay, I'll come out of the closet: I've always loved the Star Wars Trilogy. Still my favourite all time movies.
I am intrigued by 'SHTF movies' and how the media creates behaviors, reactions, and outcomes..... most improbable I think.
