Thanks again for he intel

some items I am looking to get now too

Peroxide $1.25 and calamine lotion 250ml/$2 from Dollarama...they have fresher stock than the pharmacies around here.
The peroxide is good well into 2016 but I cycle through regularly as I use it for cleaning gunked up pots and pans (peroxide and baking soda paste does an amazing job)
The calamine lotion is dated good till 2019! I like that it's small bottles so you're not opening a big bottle for use and then having it deteriorate and dry out while waiting to be used up.
ETA also...Dollarama has the Arm & Hammer sensitive teeth with a good expiry date on them for $2 for the small tube of gel toothpaste. This is a really good price so I bought a year's worth.

I never knew TSC had food buckets and gamma lids , what colour lids do they carry ?

I stocked up on some specialty salts and regular salt.

Bought pink himalayan salt, and Fleur de Sel ,I put the himalayan and fleur de sel in mason jars
for storage and will use smaller containers in kitchen for using. I ordered on line from Silk Road Spice Merchant
and received the order fast via ups. Also bought a few herbs and spices from them. Big difference
in quality from the stuff at bulk barn.

Bought regular salt at grocery store along with tinned meats.

Stocked up on smaller plastic bags from the restauarant store and also straws.

A dozen food grade 6 gallon buckets and gamma lids from Costco online.
They have a package price for a dozen of each.

NOTE: I did not require any membership to buy online.

It arrived in x 2 tall boxes via UPS.

Goldie...they're white buckets for animal feed storage...I'm assuming food grade because they're the right plastic # and type of plastic but I've got mylar bags coming to use in them just to be on the safe side (got those through amazon.ca for a very decent price and free shipping).
TSC only has the white Gamma lids.

When I ordered buckets and gamma lids from Costco online, I was assured that the buckets were indeed food grade.

Went to the Toronto LDS today picked up.
12 #10 cans of assorted food oats, powdered milk, macaroni.
10 mylar bags and oxygen absorbers.
500 rounds of cci 22 for the range Monday, from bass pro.
Finding good 22 ammo is like finding hens teeth of late.

Canned up 9 pints of pork and 14 pints of chicken breast... Food Basics had the chicken on for $1.97lb
New fileting knife (Canadian Tire, Rapala one on sale) and used it to make short work of the chicken... 1 hr 45 min to get through 28 lbs of chicken breast...have enough skin and fat saved to make schmalz (rendered chicken fat for cooking ) and froze enough bones to make a big batch of chicken stock to can up next week.
