I've been given the green light by my wife to begin making regular silver purchases instead of the sporadic that I've been making. Currently I've been buying from Colonial Acres in Waterloo.
Where do you guys buy your silver? I'm looking for rounds/maple leafs/ junk silver. I'm not interested in ebay.
Thanks!
I've used the big online guys. Kitco and Border Gold. The shipping is fairly cheap but the insurance will kill you. At least 50 cents per coin.
Your supplier is only 10 cents higher than the Kitco price for Maple Leafs. If you can pick it up and save the insurance costs you're already doing it right.
See if he'll let you buy a monster box - 500 coins.
if your like me and cant afford to buy in massive bulk, maybe 1 or 2 ounces at a time. try my friend from bc.

the prices you see is the price you pay shipped to your door.
Hey thank you both for the replies.
I really like that site Maxxpower. Good resource - probably put in an order from them.
Lets see, Colonial Acres $36.58
Kitco $36.45 + shipping and insurance, maybe $37.50 tops
Canadian Maples at $41 are no bargain, shipping included or not
You may also try the gold exchange in Toronto, or even befriend a local jeweler.
I've bought some from Apmex, in the states and some from the local coin dealer in town, in the end both were the same price. But I check on Apmex for the current silver price before I head for the dealer. Currently Apmex will buy the silver maple leaf @ $32.88 and sell @35.57 for 1-24 coins.

Hi,
You can try First Majestic Silver.

They are a silver mining company that sells direct to the public. They have 1oz rounds. You can use a credit card to pay and get the bullion shipped to your door.
Sorry couldn't reply earlier - just joined tonight.
Pretty good, it's cheaper than APMEX by $2 US per oz.
