Sounds like you are well on you way. Kudos to you. I, on the other hand, live in the city (about 6.5 hours from you) and am no where near as prepared as yourself. I am currently looking for property to set up a more self-sufficient life style, but haven't found it yet. I have only been prepping for a few years so I still have a lot to learn. the good thing is I am learning and becoming more prepared day by day. No one can be completely prepared for everything, but I do sleep better knowing that at least I am better off than the general public.

Welcome to the forum Jeeper911,
I'm also on the north shore...just on the other end of the 640 (and then a little bit) outside of St-Calixte.
We should meet up sometime for coffee.

hi all
just wanted to give a greeting to my new community 🙂 I live in montreal in Ahuntsic
I recently took an interest in prepping and believe it to be a useful skill and a worthy pastime. we are prepping for our own survival and familys well being after all, cant think of a better thing to do with spare time. I need to learn on developing my skills as im new to this.
I look forward to chatting with you and hopefully attending some future meetups to get to know like minded people.
see you soon

Hi kdxman, glad to see another Quebeker join up.
We have regular spring meet n greets in Montreal, and many of us join in the Eastern Ontario group meets at Larose Forest.
Welcome!

From an older thread....

Instuctions to the location.

To get to P1, take Highway 417 to exit 79 (well-marked since this is the exit for Calypso Waterpark). Go through the town of Limoges and follow the sharp right curve in the road onto Saumure Road. Stay on this road — the name changes to Indian Creek — and take the second left onto a road which is also Indian Creek. You’ll find P1 less than a kilometre down this road.
