Curious topic, I like it.
Consider for the moment that mankind has gone through many cycles on this planet. If our last 5000 years of history is any indication of life before that, we as a species are quite violent by nature. And we are very smart at times, eventually achieving control over our resources. This has been done in the past.
What hasn't happened, is mankind surmounting the hump of technological advance, combined with the human ego. We always seem to peak in technology, before we implode as a civiliaztion and destroy ourselves and have to start over again.
As for alien introvention......we could look at the early humaniod species - Cro Magna, Neaderthal, Homo Erectus. They all lived for a short time and then died off. Sometimes more than one species was in exsistence at the same time. It looks more like introduction than evolution. Like the Earth was a large petri dish and someone was experimenting with different gene strains trying to perfect a specific model.
Maybe the "gods" have designed us for their use in other parts of the universe and between visits we are allowed to max out our learning cycle before we are transplanted elsewhere???
Could there be "watchers" here, now......why not. We now have drones the size of dragonflies to spy on each other. If I had the technology to bend time and travel space, I would have the ability to monitor activity on good ole planet Earth, even if I had 2 heads and 4 arms.
As for religion, it is not visitor exclusive. Even the Bible makes references to lights in the sky/wheels in the sky. Ezekiel, I believe it was. I could be wrong, and I am sure someone on here will correct me, please.
How about pyramids?? Bosnia, Egypt, Central America, Mexico??
